3 fake court order, cheat bank of Rs 1.3crore

BENGALURU: Three men who allegedly fabricated court orders to get Rs 1.3 crore released from frozen accounts in a private bank have been arrested by the cyber crime police in city. They have also frozen an account of one of the accused with a balance of Rs 63 lakh. The fraud had come to light during an internal audit by ICICI Bank.
Sagar Lakura (23), the mastermind, is from Rajasthan, and his associates Abhimanyu Kumar Panday (26), and Neeraj Singh (28), are from Delhi. They obtained an email ID from the Karnataka State Wide Area Network (KSWAN) and then used this email ID to send fake court orders to the bank to get the money released, investigations revealed. TNN
