The American Association of Aesthetic Medicine and Surgery (AAAMS) has launched its Facial Aesthetics Mentorship Program in Beverly Hills, providing certified aesthetic medicine practitioners with hands-on experience treating clients under expert supervision. This first-of-its-kind program bridges the gap between training and independent practice through a revenue-sharing model, on-site medical oversight, and turnkey support, making it a cost-effective alternative to starting a private practice.
, /PRNewswire/ -- The American Association of Aesthetic Medicine and Surgery (AAAMS) today announced the launch of its groundbreaking Facial Aesthetics Mentorship Program, designed to bridge the critical gap between certification and independent practice for aesthetic medicine professionals.
Located in AAAMS's premium Beverly Hills facility, this first-of-its-kind program offers certified injectors the opportunity to treat their own clients under expert supervision while earning income through a unique revenue-sharing model.
"We've identified a significant challenge in the aesthetic medicine industry – the difficult transition from classroom training to real-world practice," said Dr. Sam Assassa, President of AAAMS. "Our mentorship program provides the perfect solution by offering supervised clinical experience in a state-of-the-art facility, allowing practitioners to build confidence and clientele without the substantial upfront investment typically required to start an independent practice."
The AAAMS Mentorship Program features several innovative components:
- Revenue-sharing model: Participants keep 50% of their treatment revenue after covering product costs
- On-site Medical Director supervision: All treatments performed under expert guidance
- Fully equipped treatment rooms: Premium Beverly Hills facility with all necessary equipment provided
- Comprehensive malpractice insurance: Coverage included for all supervised activities
- Turnkey administrative support: Scheduling, patient coordination, and operational assistance included
The program is specifically designed for Registered Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and MDs who have completed certification in Botox and dermal fillers through AAAMS or another accredited training entity.
For a monthly fee of $500, participants receive 8 hours of supervised training per month, with additional hours available at $150 per hour. This represents a fraction of the cost of establishing an independent practice, which typically requires an initial investment of $10,000 to $50,000 or more.
"The mentorship program helped me transition from classroom learning to confidently treating clients on my own," said Jessica M., RN, an early participant in the program. "Dr. Assassa's guidance was invaluable, and the ability to use the AAAMS treatment rooms was a game changer for launching my career in aesthetics."
Due to the personalized nature of the program and limited capacity of the Beverly Hills facility, enrollment is limited. AAAMS is currently accepting applications, with priority given to recent AAAMS certification graduates.
