Alabama Dealt Unfortunate News on Younger Brother of Nick Saban Legacy Recruit

Minkah Fitzpatrick was one of the Alabama Crimson Tide's best recruits during Nick Saban's long and successful tenure with the team.

A five-star recruit and No. 2 safety in the 2015 recruiting class, Fitzpatrick went on to have an incredible collegiate career and is one of the NFL's biggest stars in the secondary.

His brother, Justice Fitzpatrick is going through the recruiting process now as he determines his future. He has since narrowed down his list to five schools.

Even with his brother being on of Alabama's best, Fitzpatrick closed the door on the crimson red with his final five consisting of the Georgia Bulldogs, Florida Gators, Ohio State Buckeyes, Texas Longhorns, and Miami Hurricanes.

Wanting to carve his own path in his collegiate career and not following in his brother's footsteps is evident, and could even join one of Alabama's biggest rivals in the SEC.

The No. 4 ranked cornerback in the nation recently spoke out on his decision for his final five schools in April, and now those five are official.

“I feel like those five I’m really set on. They’re really the ones that have really been consistent once I showed my mutual interest. …I feel like they all do a really good job reaching out," said Fitzpatrick.

On top of these being his five schools, he now has visits planned with all of his final five, with Georgia kicking off May 31. Miami, Florida, Texas, and Ohio State will have their visits on June 5, 7, 13, and 20, respectively.

It has been reported that he will likely be making his commitment decision at some point in July, where fans of his final five schools will be eager to add his talents.
