JAMMU: Underscoring that peace is the top priority in Jammu & Kashmir, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Monday said
anti-terrorism operations
in the Union territory will continue without remission.
“The Indian Army is fully capable and is giving a befitting response on the border,” Sinha told reporters on the sidelines of the inaugural ceremony of the first edition of
Sikh Cricket Premier League
in Jammu.
Responding to a question on the recent
cross-border incidents
on the line of control in the Jammu division, Sinha said the administration will continue anti-terrorism operations, as clear-cut instructions have been given to security agencies to wipe out the menace and ensure peace and stability in the region.
Sinha said police and other security agencies are working in close synergy to wipe out terrorism and end their ecosystem.
