Bank Stocks Rise on Citi and BofA’s Earnings

Bank stocks were on track for their largest increase in a week after Citi and Bank of America each reported first-quarter earnings that topped analysts’ expectations.

On Tuesday the SPDR S&P Bank ETF rose 2.6%, on pace for its best day since April 9. The S&P 500 was up 0.6%.
