The Indiana Fever have struggled as of late, riding a three-game losing streak.
Indiana is 2-4 on the season. They have played the last two games without Caitlin Clark, suffering a loss in both games, seemingly missing their leading scorer and playmaker.
Now, the Fever are preparing for a bounce-back game against the Washington Mystics. They're set to face Washington on Tuesday at 7 p.m. ET.
Clark will still be sidelined for a minimum of two weeks, so the Fever will attempt to hold down the fort.
Amid her injury, Clark made an appearance in the Eastern Conference Finals of the NBA playoffs. She was in attendance for a matchup between the Indiana Pacers and the New York Knicks in Game 6.
The Pacers ultimately defeated the Knicks 125-108 to advance to the NBA Finals.
After the game, Clark was caught on video celebrating the victory with Tyrese Haliburton's girlfriend, Jade Jones.
The two were seemingly elated, jumping up and down and hugging. Clark carried Jones up, celebrating with a familiar face.
Upon the release of the video, some fans took to social media, sharing their thoughts on the interaction between Caitlin Clark and Jade Jones.
"Cute but there goes her quad injury again," said one fan.
"Caitlin and blondes man I tell ya," said another fan.
"This girl doesn’t care about that injury," mentioned one fan.
"She’s collecting blondes like it’s pokemon," commented one fan.
"Caitlin is going to give all of us a heart attack please to jade down man we don’t need any more strain on that quad," said one fan.
"That quad is going to be fine," said another fan.
Caitlin Clark has been phenomenal in her second season with the Indiana Fever. While she's only played a few games to start the season, Clark is putting up incredible numbers.
Throughout the season, Clark has averaged 19.0 points, 6.0 rebounds and 9.3 assists per game.
