The Chargers reached a two-year, $13 million deal with free agent cornerback Donte Jackson on Monday, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Jackson had 38 total tackles and a career-high five interceptions last season with the Steelers.
After being drafted in the second round in 2018 by the Panthers, Jackson spent six seasons in Carolina before joining Pittsburgh in 2024. Over his seven-season career, Jackson has 341 combined tackles and 19 total interceptions.
Also on Monday, news broke that the Chargers are bringing back future Hall of Famer Khalil Mack on a one-year, $18 million deal, per multiple reports.
