According to reports, Chelsea can still actually meet in the middle to sign a new world class goalkeeper this summer.

I believe there are a lot of negotiation tactics going on right now and the two clubs could still easily meet in the middle if they decide to.

“Chelsea don’t see £20-£25m as a number they want to pay for Mike Maignan. They’re starting low and if they can meet in a middle or get close to their £8.5m valuation then great, if not then there’s no drama.”
