Eva Longoria is no doubt a multi-hyphenate. The 49-year-old actress-activist-producer is also a bonafide beauty icon. After all, she's been a L'Oreal ambassador for two decades, so she knows a thing or two about the beauty world. And while Longoria has access to skin-care, makeup and beauty treatments that us non-celebs can only dream of, she lists a few of the brand's affordable products as her favorites. One in particular is a real winner in her eyes: L'Oreal Paris Revitalift 10% Pure Glycolic Acid Face Serum, which is over 40% off at Amazon.
This serum may be wallet-friendly, but it's the real deal if you want to wake up with softer skin and less-noticeable lines and dark spots, fans say.
Why is it a good deal? 💰
This serum is a total steal for just over $21, down from $36. In fact, according to our price trackers, it hasn't been this affordable all year, so now's the time to stock up.
Why do I need this? 🤔
In an interview with Prevention, Longoria said she "can't live without the Revitalift series" and added of the glycolic serum, "For me, it smooths fine lines."
As the name implies, this serum is packed with 10% glycolic acid, which is a resurfacing alpha hydroxy acid that works to help reduce dark spots and wrinkles. It's suitable for daily use and free of any mineral oils, parabens, dyes and fragrances. While some glycolic acid serums can be too intense for day-to-day use, this formula also includes soothing aloe vera, which makes all the difference.
For best results, L'Oreal recommends applying it at night after you wash your face, but before you apply your moisturizer. To protect your skin, you'll also want to wear SPF the next day.

What reviewers say 💬
More than 6,400 Amazon shoppers have given this L'Oreal favorite a full five stars, and they've snapped up more than 2,000 bottles in the last month.
Pros 👍
One happy user shared: "I have been using this face serum for one month now, and I actually notice a reduction in the lines around my eyes and my smile lines. Smiling even more now. Good product at a good price. I've used high-end expensive products, and this one seems to work just the same."
"I have used this product for years, and I keep repurchasing it!" said this repeat buyer. "I have sensitive, eczema-prone skin, but I have a robust skin-care routine. I use this product once a week at night, and I wear sunscreen every day. My skin looks brighter the morning after I use this, and it is soft. I love that it is a relatively affordable product that is easy to get, but it works like a powerhouse."
"This product has worked wonders on my skin. I’ve had stubborn acne bumps that I could never get rid of and have tried countless products, but this one has really helped. I highly recommend it even for general healthy skin — my pores and complexion have improved so much," raved a smooth-faced shopper.
Cons 👎
Some reviewers did have some feedback on the serum's packaging.
"My face seems to be brighter and my fine lines seem to be disappearing, so I went ahead and ordered this on an automatic subscription... My only issue is I wish it was in a pump because it's sometimes hard to use with the dropper," wrote one mostly happy customer.
Another echoed that sentiment: "I hate the packaging — the glass bottle and glass dropper are cumbersome but I suppose it is environmentally better so I'll deal with it. I'd prefer a glass bottle with pump so I can't accidentally knock it over."
Got sensitive skin? This is fragrance-free, paraben-free and dye-free, and aloe vera helps balance out the hero ingredient, glycolic acid.
Longoria also raves about another L'Oreal serum:
This ultra-hydrating serum works to pump your skin, as well as reduce lines and wrinkles in as little as one week, thanks to the pure hyaluronic acid.
Longoria told Prevention, "I use it in the morning. First, the serum, then my moisturizer and then my makeup. So it's definitely the basis of my skin."
