The England man finds Tomas Soucek, whose shot may have taken a turn off the calf of James Tarkowski en route to beating Pickford.

There’s excitement growing as we pass the hour mark, and Jarrod Bowen fires a hard shot from an acute angle that is diverted to the other side of the 18 by Pickford.

It will not be a penalty, as Beto’s shot attempt did not contact the defender but the turf.

It’s all about the counter for West Ham, as Jarrod Bowen juggles himself into volley position from atop the 18 but is swerving shot is too close to Pickford.
An ensuing counter is headed away by Vitalii Mykolenko.
Everton have otherwise been parking in the West Ham half, but fussing with the locks to the more dangerous areas.

West Ham win a corner and execute in a way that Moyes will admire, Bowen nodding toward goal and the ball taking a wicked turn off the shoulder of Jarrad Branthwaite.

Everton vs West Ham preview, prediction
Both teams have 33 points and ambitions to set themselves up for a stronger 2025-26 season under their new bosses. Moyes returned to Goodison around the same time Potter was appointed to lead the Irons.
The Toffees are unbeaten in eight-straight Premier League games, though the last three outings have been draws against Manchester United, Brentford, and Wolves.
Things haven’t been as rosy for West Ham but they do seem to be on the way up. The Irons are coming off a 1-0 loss to Newcastle that followed consecutive wins over Arsenal and Leicester City.
The Toffees have done well considering how many attacking options have been (and remain) unavailable to them. West Ham have played a series of tight games of late with goals at a premium. We don’t see many nil-nils in the Premier League, but we’ll go for a deadlock. Everton 1-1 West Ham.
