Fairways for Families Charity Golf Tournament tees off June 19 to support local families

The Odessa Family YMCA is proud to announce its First Annual Fairways for Families Charity Golf Tournament, taking place on Thursday, June 19, at Ratliff Ranch Golf Links, with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. With just over a month to go, the YMCA invites the community to join the fun while making a meaningful impact — team registration and sponsorship opportunities are still open.

This exciting new tradition brings together local businesses, community members, and golf enthusiasts to support the Odessa Family YMCA’s mission to strengthen families and serve youth across the Permian Basin. Proceeds from the tournament will go toward scholarships, youth programs, and family services that ensure every child and parent has access to opportunities for a healthy and connected life, a news release said.

“We’re thrilled to launch this annual event and rally support for the families we serve every day,” Crissy Medina, CEO of the Odessa Family YMCA, said in the release. “Fairways for Families is more than just a golf tournament — it’s a way for our community to come together, have fun, and create lasting change for local families.”
