A 16-year-old driver has been charged after a pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle in Brampton in August, Ontario Provincial Police said. The crash happened just before 1 a.m. on Mayfield Road near McLaughlin Road on Aug. 27, 2024, OPP said in a news release Friday. A 60-year-old from Brampton was pronounced dead at the scene.
