The Cleveland Browns are gearing up for what promises to be an intriguing 2025 season, especially following the release of the NFL schedule earlier this week.
Heading into the NFL Draft, Cleveland was expected to target a quarterback—and they came away with two. The team selected Oregon’s Dillon Gabriel in the third round, then made headlines by snagging Colorado star Shedeur Sanders in the fifth round, a surprising fall that was arguably the most shocking development of the draft.
Now, the Browns' quarterback room is crowded, featuring veterans Joe Flacco, Kenny Pickett (formerly of the Steelers and Eagles), and Deshaun Watson—who is still recovering from an Achilles injury. This sets up a series of key questions as the team approaches training camp, preseason, and ultimately Week 1, particularly around how quarterback reps will be distributed.
In the meantime, Shedeur Sanders is already turning heads. On Saturday, a video of him wearing his full No. 12 Browns uniform at the NFLPA Rookie Premier went viral on social media, as the rookie has quickly emerged as a fan favorite within the Cleveland fanbase.
Check it out:
"Yeah it’s inevitable," a fan said.
"I never thought that I’d actually LIKE a Browns Uniform," another fan posted.
Someone else added, "This is why ppl think the Steelers are going 0-6 out the gate."
One more fan commented, "t’s a beautiful thing."

Also wearing a No. 12 jersey is Jacksonville Jaguars rookie Travis Hunter, Sanders' former teammate at both Jackson State and Colorado.
Sanders will have to compete to earn his place in the Browns' quarterback room, but following the three-day rookie minicamp, he appeared to make a strong first impression—thanks to his throwing ability, confident demeanor, and the way he carried himself around his new teammates.
