Gold futures hit a record high as geopolitical and macroeconomic tensions continue to mount.
Futures are up 2.5% to $3,321.40 a troy ounce, having climbed as high as $3,334.20/oz earlier in the session.
Gold's latest rally comes as the U.S. looks to further isolate China from global trade, SP Angel analysts said in a note.
