Greek NBA star Antetokounmpo slams 'disrespectful' Pacers after exit

Greek NBA star Giannis Antetokounmpo accused the Indiana Pacers of lacking humility after they eliminated his Milwaukee Bucks from the play-offs on Tuesday.

The twice season MVP and 2021 Finals MVP was involved in a spat with Bennedict Mathurin, prompting a shoving match between players. He also had angry words with Tyrese Haliburton's father after the dramatic 119-118 overtime loss.

"I believe in being humble in victory. That's the way I am," Antetokounmpo told reporters. "Now, there can be a lot of people out there that are like, 'no when you win the game you got to talk' and it's a green light for you to be disrespectful toward somebody else.

"I disagree. I've won the championship. They haven't."

Antetokounmpo said Haliburton's father had particularly angered him.

"Coming in the floor and showing me his son's towel, with (his son's) face, 'this is what we do. This is what we f'ing do. This the f we do,' .... I feel like that's very, very disrespectful," Antetokounmpo added.

"Coming to me and disrespecting me and cursing at me I think is totally unacceptable, totally unacceptable."
