Hardline former security minister Itamar Ben-Gvir and his right-wing extremist party are returning to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's Israeli government.
Ben-Gvir's Otzma Yehudit (Jewish Power) and Netanyahu's Likud party announced the move on Tuesday.
Ben-Gvir and his party had resigned from the Israeli government in January in protest at the ceasefire agreement with Hamas.
The governing coalition is dependent on Ben-Gvir to avert new elections. Israel's parliament must pass the budget by the end of the month, otherwise parliament will automatically dissolve.
Without Ben-Gvir's support, it is almost impossible to pass the budget. He is calling for a resumption of the Gaza war.
