JAMMU: J&K Police Friday arrested two persons and seized 6 kg of heroin worth an estimated Rs 30 crore from a village near the Line of Control in
Rajouri district
. The contraband was smuggled from Pakistan.
The two suspects, Ashok Kumar and Sanjay Kumar, both residents of Sair Bhawani village in
Nowshera
, were arrested based on the disclosures made by Jaswinder Kumar, a resident of Lamberi village, the prime accused in a narcotics smuggling case registered last year. Sonu had been absconding for over a year and was nabbed on February 5.
