, /PRNewswire/ -- Housing Works will host its annual Design on a Dime (DOAD) benefit April 23-26, 2025. Now in its 20th year, the highly anticipated event brings together acclaimed designers and premium brands to curate vignettes and collections for an enviable showcase of luxury home decor, furnishings, and art. The three-day shopping event returns to the Metropolitan Pavilion with an exciting lineup of dozens of renowned interior design professionals.
The festivities will kick off on April 23 with the 20th Anniversary Celebration, a dinner and awards program honoring leaders and advocates in the design community who have created a home for humanitarianism over two decades. Shopping will begin on April 24 with a series of ticketed affairs that include a VIP reception and early-access shopping, culminating in the free public sale days April 25-26. Tickets are now available for purchase here.
Design on a Dime is led by Founding Chair, James "Ford" Huniford with event leadership that includes a stellar cast of Designer Co-Chairs: Alessandra Branca, Rayman Boozer, Jamie Drake, Cliff Fong, Elissa Grayer, Young Huh, David Kaihoi, Charlotte Moss, Joy Moyler, and Miles Redd.
As DOAD celebrates its 20th anniversary, it has raised more than $24 million to support Housing Works' charitable mission to end HIV/AIDS and homelessness. Generous donations from dedicated design aficionados and iconic home brands give their time, resources, and creative energy to bring the event to life.
This year's event will feature an array of masterfully curated vignettes styled by a lineup of the industry's most acclaimed designers. Each vignette boasts an expertly crafted assortment of luxury pieces donated by designers, dealers, galleries, shops, and hundreds of coveted brands in home decor. Marked up to 80% off retail prices, the merchandise will be sold to benefit Housing Works' lifesaving services and advocacy work to end the AIDS epidemic and to provide housing, healthcare, and social justice for all. Among the vignettes, the event will also host the Brunschwig & Fils Bazaar showcasing the quintessentially maximalist side of the luxury home decor brand Brunschwig & Fils, inviting attendees inside five wonderfully whimsical rooms dreamed up by a line-up of wildly talented designers — all in wall-to-wall Brunschwig.

"Twenty years ago, DOAD began as a small cohort of openhearted designers coming together at Housing Works in Chelsea to style a single nook and has grown to an extensive corps of designers and brands. The event was conceived as a means to harness the incredible generosity and creative force of the design community to honor our friends lost to AIDS and to help provide dignity and security to those living with HIV," said Design on a Dime's Founding Chair, James Huniford. "I am forever grateful for the continued support."
Premier sponsors of Design on a Dime 2025 include Brunschwig & Fils and Benjamin Moore; signature sponsor, Bloomingdale's; and Pillow Talk produced by FREDERIC Magazine, sponsored by Schumacher.
