I scrolled through 25,000+ Nordstrom new arrivals for March — here are my top 15

While I could easily do without all of the dusting and vacuuming that comes along with spring cleaning, I am a big fan of organizing. One of the best things about going through every drawer and closet in my apartment (and purging things I no longer need) is that it means more room for new stuff, and I love stuff. I mean, as a professional shopper, it's my job to know everything about all of the new stuff out there. So, whenever I do a cleanout, I like to turn to one of my favorite hobbies: scrolling through Nordstrom's new arrivals.

Right now, the massive section has thousands of finds from top brands like Coach, Barefoot Dreams, Skims, Adidas and, well, a lot more. While I currently have approximately 52 new items in my shopping cart, I decided to cut it down to a more realistic list that fits the "one in, one out" spring cleaning rule. From closet basics like a comfy white tee to seasonal finds like this flowy maxi dress, scroll below to shop my 15 editor-approved Nordstrom new arrivals in March. Happy cleaning — and shopping.

Spring is a great excuse to refresh some closet basics, and I firmly believe that one can never have too many white tees! The flattering cut of this shirt is the perfect combination of casual and cool, especially when you add that little pocket. Not a white tee person? You can pick this shirt up in 11 other shades.

Repeat after me: Pink is a neutral. Now that that's settled, cozy knit cardigans are dominating the sweater game this spring — and this one checks all of the boxes. Plus, Free People has never made a sweater that I didn't fall in love with. This oversized beaut also comes in navy.

Never underestimate the power of a good pair of flattering black wide leg pants. Depending on how you style it, you can wear it pretty much everywhere. Throw on a tee or a tank for a casual look and a blouse or sweater for the office. You can even pair it with a matching blazer and elegant accessories for a wedding.

Florals? For spring? Groundbreaking, I know, I know. But who can resist a good floral maxi dress like this one? It fits the season's boho trend perfectly thanks to the smocked waist (with a drawstring!) and flowy silhouette. There are buttons lined all the way up from the hem to the V-neckline, so you can show as much or as little skin as you want. Just slide it on over your head and twirl baby, twirl.

Fun, frilly and feminine, there's so much to love about this peasant blouse. It's adorned with delicate pintucks, lace trimming and eyelet fabric for a vintage-y feel that still looks modern. Style it with light wash jeans like the model for a casual cool outfit or dress it up with a skirt or trousers. It also comes in black, but the white is just so flowy and free.

A little pop of soft blue to kick off spring is always a good idea. This slouchy leather Coach bag is so good for those days when I don't need my laptop but need just a liiiiitle bit more room while I'm out and about. Plus, the curved opening means it can flawlessly fit under the armpit.

There are good spring jackets — and then there are good spring jackets. This trench from Mango is definitely in the latter. The neutral beige tone matches whatever you're wearing and I love the elevated details (think belted cuffs and notched lapels). Just twist or buckle the belt to cinch that waist and you're ready for spring.

The only way I can stay organized is with the help of something pretty, like this weekly planner. It has 60 tearaway pages with bulleted to-do lists and large boxes to schedule out your week. It'll look a hell of a lot prettier on your desk than that basic spiral notebook does.

I'm so over buying basic, thin black frames — pictures that are special enough to be printed in the first place deserve a special display! This pretty blue one knocks it out of the park without overpowering the photo inside. It's giving major ocean vibes, which means a beach photo is a must.

As a 5'2" gal who walks everywhere but loves a heel, I'm very particular with the shoes I buy. These Gazelles are both comfy as a sneaker and have a platformed sole for some extra height. While they come in 16 colors, I just love the green and cream combination. It's neutral without being boring, you know?

Butter yellow is huge this spring and I'm honestly obsessed, which is crazy because I always avoid wearing anything yellow. The soft color is at its best in this 100% organic cotton oversized shirt. It's flowy, versatile and oh-so-right for layering. It's basically the fashion equivalent of drinking limoncello on a hot July afternoon in Positano, right? No? Just me?

Yes, $94 may seem crazy for three tank tops — but believe me when I say that the Skims ribbed tanks are so worth it. I already own three and wear them like nobody's business. They're soft, supremely flattering and hold up so well wash after wash. Grab this three-pack to bring each one down to just $31 from the normal price of $38.

I somehow won the Ticketmaster battle and scored tickets to Beyoncé's Cowboy Carter tour — call me lucky! That means I've been scouring the internet for a good pair of cowboy boots to wear, duh. Currently, I'm all about this Jeffrey Campbell style. They have the general shape and essence of a traditional look, but the clean leather makes them feel more appropriate for everyday wear — even when the trend starts to die down.

Despite the rumor that skinny jeans might be coming back, wide leg jeans are still here and crushing it. Take, for example, this washed pair. The raw hem gives the simple look a little bit of spice and nails that boho western-chic look. Plus, the tummy features powermesh panels that mold to your body and hold everything in for a flattering, streamlined look.

Throw blanket season doesn't end when the clocks reset. This ultra-soft Barefoot Dreams blanket is so plush without being sweaty to the point that you'll never want to leave the house again. Is that a bad thing? Eh. The microfiber fabric won't shrink, pill or wrinkle, making it such an easygoing, throwable throw.
