International recap | Conceicao helps send Portugal to the final! 

With the women’s international window having just come to a close (and in real style for some of our Bianconere) in the last few days, it’s now time for the men’s national teams to take centre stage. With 10 of our Men’s First Team players called up to represent their respective countries this month, the action is already underway.

The first Bianconero in action was Francisco Conceicao with Portugal, who was in action in Germany.

CHICO ON TARGET, PORTUGAL IN THE FINAL

Conceicao and Portugal faced Germany in Munich, and trailed to a Florian Wirtz goal. Three changes after 58 minutes, though, changed the game.

Conceicao was one of the players to come on, and he needed just five minutes to make his impact felt, scoring an equaliser before Cristiano Ronaldo made it 2-1 just moments later.

And so, Portugal are into the UEFA Nations League final, where they will take on either Spain or France.
