J&K BJP neta found dead at home, cops suspect suicide

J&K BJP functionary and former MLA Faqir Mohammad Khan was found with a fatal gunshot wound at his home in a high-security area in Srinagar Thursday. The 65-year-old Sheena tribal politician was rushed to govt medical college, where doctors declared him

dead

on arrival, reports Naseer Ganai.
Police have registered a case. "Initial findings suggest the death appears to be a case of

suicide

. Further probe is ongoing," a police statement said.
