Jason Kelce Reveals the Heartwarming Reason He’s Counting Down the Offseason

Jason Kelce may be retired from the NFL, but his calendar is still full—and for all the right reasons.

The former Philadelphia Eagles center and now ESPN analyst says what excites him most about the offseason isn’t just less football—it’s more family time, especially with his younger brother, Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce.

Speaking at the Amazon MGM Studios Upfront event on Monday, Jason Kelce shared what this time of year means to him now that he's off the field.

“I mean, the biggest thing you enjoy is being around the family more,” Jason Kelce told PEOPLE. “I think in-season, I was doing Monday Night Football, you're doing the podcast, you're working a lot… So I think now that it’s the off-season, you get time to be around the family more.”

But there’s one person in particular he’s most excited to spend time with: Travis Kelce.

“I always look forward to spending more time with Trav,” Jason Kelce said.

The brothers recently made the most of their free time during a trip to Las Vegas. They joined Justin Timberlake at the 8AM Golf Invitational and caught up with friends both on and off the golf course.

Jason Kelce’s offseason isn’t just about fun with his brother—it’s also about family at home. He and wife Kylie Kelce welcomed their fourth daughter, Finnley, in March.

Per PEOPLE, the Super Bowl champion said he’s enjoying watching his older daughters adjust to their new roles as big sisters.

“The older two love being like mom… Our youngest, Benny, she took some warming up, but she’s starting to get there,” he shared.

With football behind him and his focus now on family and fun, Jason Kelce is embracing every moment of the offseason, especially the ones that bring him closer to Travis Kelce.
