's Mahim home to find out if he was present there, to which he responded by posting a message on X saying it was a waste of time.
Meanwhile, police have begun recording statements of some of the people who attended Kamra's show '

Naya Bharat

' on Feb 2 at Habitat Studio. Police are probing his alleged remarks about Maharashtra deputy CM Eknath Shinde in the show.
Police also served notices to audience members under CRPC Section 179, which authorises police officers to summon witnesses for investigation. IPS officer-turned-lawyer YP Singh said police have the authority to summon one or two attendees from the show to record their witness statements. He emphasised that calling spectators is not mandatory since electronic evidence already exists in the case.
Kamra posted on X: "Going to an address where I haven't lived for the last 10 Years is a waste of your time & public resources..." This statement followed the police visit to his parents'

The notices issued to Kamra on March 25 and 26 required him to appear at Khar police station regarding his controversial remarks. He did not appear, as Madras HC granted him interim bail until April 7.
