Kyle Richards has 'rich mom' energy in the bag with this $54 Bottega lookalike

If you've seen the Real Housewives, then you've seen some serious baggage — hand-baggage, that is. The franchise's stylish star Kyle Richards, for one, has a clear penchant for handbags, counting Hermès, Louis Vuitton, Chanel and Bottega among her collection.

Over the years, we've seen her incredible handbag ensemble expand, get stolen and be replenished again. But rather than leave the rest of us dripping with jealousy, Richards kindly went live and used her shopping superpowers to point us to a particularly gorgeous style that we mere mortals can actually afford: a tote she says looks a lot like Bottega — but for $49! It looks as good as the designer version, she tells us, without all those extra zeroes. Thanks, Kyle!

Richards, a shining example of the viral "rich mom" aesthetic, shared a slew of realistically priced style picks in a recent Amazon livestream. Right at 11:40, she grabs the Melolila Large Woven Tote Bag and positively gushes: "Love, love, love this bag, guys!" Inspecting it, she adds, "It is really, really beautiful and fits a lot of stuff. … I have an actual Bottega bag like this in suede."

The tote measures 15 inches across, so it'll easily fit your daily essentials and possible even a laptop. It features a magnetic closure and a strap just long enough to slide over the shoulder.

In the livestream, Richards fawns over the included clutch too, saying, "This is great!" She likes the idea of using it as a roomy makeup bag, adding: "I could fill it."

The Melolila comes in six colors and styles but Richards is clear on her hue of choice: "I'm really into brown everything. … " The rich chocolate hue is just a tad deeper than Pantone's 2025 Color of the Year: Mocha Mousse and will go with pretty much anything. You can also grab this beauty in black, cream, a lighter brown and a couple of two-tone options.

Amazon shoppers are responding positively to the tote: "I receive so many compliments, and when I say I purchased it on Amazon, heads turn," shared one. "...I find it to not be too heavy unless I am carrying a lot. I love the material; it’s very comfortable."

Another fan commented on the "soft, buttery leather," adding: "I have many designer bags and find myself grabbing this daily for the understated elegance and classiness."

While the vast majority of buyers love this bag, a few had qualms with size and closure. "Nice enough bag," wrote one shopper. "[It] just didn't fit my laptop. The opening is smaller but it's really a nice bag. Top doesn't have a zip closure, which I would have loved."
