Love To Dream calls for US parents to put their 'arms up' for Better Sleep with a Chance to Win $25,000 During Sleep Awareness Month

, /PRNewswire/ -- Love to Dream, the multi-award-winning baby and toddler sleep brand known for bringing better sleep to millions of families worldwide is launching their 'Arms Up' movement this Sleep Awareness Month encouraging parents to prioritize quality sleep for the whole family while raising awareness of the challenges young families face.

According to a survey conducted by Love to Dream, 58% of parents surveyed reported they lost an average of 2-4 hours of sleep per night in the first 6 months with a new baby. That's a 364–728-hour sleep deficit. Additionally, parenting has never been more expensive, with rising childcare, medical, and everyday costs adding to the burden on families. This combination of financial pressure and chronic sleep deprivation creates a cycle of stress that impacts parents' well-being and their ability to provide the best care for their children.

This Sleep Awareness Month, through their "Arms Up' campaign, Love To Dream is stepping in to help raise awareness of these challenges and is providing resources, support and sleep solutions that promote healthier, more balanced lifestyles.

"Sleep deprivation isn't just about feeling tired—it can affect mental health, relationships, and overall well-being. Many parents struggle with guilt, frustration, and feelings of isolation when their baby isn't sleeping well," said Martin Matthews, CEO at Love to Dream. "With the 'Arms Up' movement, we want to create a space where parents feel seen, supported, and empowered to ask for help. No one should have to navigate sleep challenges alone."

Love To Dream's partners Room to Grow and First Candle have jumped on board to help amplify the conversation around the importance of sleep and provide resources for struggling parents.

"Families today are facing an unprecedented cost-of-living crisis, making access to essential resources and the pursuit of income security more difficult than ever," said Akilah B. King, CEO at Room to Grow. "We're thrilled to see Love to Dream uniting American families, and hope this initiative highlights the urgent need for support systems that give every parent and child a fair start."

Sleep deprivation doesn't just impact parents—it affects entire households. "We know that lack of sleep increases stress, affects decision-making, and has the potential to put both babies and parents in difficult and sometimes dangerous situations," said Alison Jacobson, CEO at First Candle. "It's critical that we continue to educate families on safe sleep practices and provide support to help them navigate this challenging yet incredibly rewarding phase of life."

Love To Dream is welcoming US families to join their 'Arms Up' movement. Throughout the month of March, the brand is encouraging families to post a picture or video of themselves with their 'arms up' on Tik Tok or Instagram using the #ArmsUpForBetterSleep hashtag. Participants will be entered to win a $25,000 Family Sleep Fund, plus one of 31 Love to Dream Sleep Starter Packs containing three Love to Dream™ Swaddle Up™ and their new bedtime hero, the Sleep Machine. Just what new parents need to help everyone sleep like a baby.
