NBA Makes Jalen Brunson Announcement on Wednesday

The New York Knicks faced off against the Indiana Pacers in the Eastern Conference finals, led by NBA star Jalen Brunson

During Game 1 against the Pacers in the ECF, Brunson made NBA history. 

The social media account of the NBA shared a historic update on Brunson, mentioning that he has tied Patrick Ewing for the most 30-point playoff games in franchise history. 

Brunson now has 18 30-point games, continuing to cement his legacy with the Knicks. 

"Tonight marks Jalen Brunson's 18th 30-PT playoff game as a member of the Knicks," posted the official Instagram account of the NBA. "Tying Patrick Ewing (18 in 135 games) for the MOST such games in franchise history He did it in 37 games."

Throughout the season, Jalen Brunson posted 26.0 points, 2.9 rebounds and 7.3 assists per game. 

Before facing off against the Indiana Pacers in the Eastern Conference finals, Brunson helped lead the New York Knicks to a first-round victory over the Detroit Pistons and a second-round win over the Boston Celtics

Game 2 between the Knicks and Pacers is on Friday at 8 p.m. ET.
