WNBA rookie Paige Bueckers made a bold style statement as she stepped out for the Dallas Wings-Minnesota Lynx matchup.
The Wednesday game was a meaningful one for the 23-year-old, as she returned to her home state for the showdown at the Target Center in Minneapolis.
However, it wasn’t just her comeback that drew attention—the Wings guard’s special outfit also turned heads.
In a post shared by the Wings on their official Instagram, fans couldn’t get enough of the former UConn Huskies star after she arrived at the arena in her tracksuit.
“Sankofa on the jacket!! P not playing around!!!” one wrote.
“Now THAT'S drip,” a fan commented.
“My tracksuit queen,” a supporter mentioned.
The same goes for a follower who said, “Paige and her 2-piece never miss,” while another fan called her “DRIPPY P.”
Paige Bueckers’ outfit delivered comfort and fashion in one, as she strutted in a lilac and orange coordinated tracksuit that appeared to be her signature look.
Interestingly, her look for the Wings-Lynx game held a special meaning.
According to a post, the WNBA rookie’s tunnel fit was custom-made by fashion designer Dapper Dan in collaboration with Sherwin-Williams Company, a global leader in paints and coatings.
“I designed a special one-of-a-kind outfit for @paigebueckers to wear for her first tunnel walk back in her hometown. This look not only showcases the color, Radiant Lilac SW 0074, but is also made to inspire confidence and showcase the beauty that comes from staying true to you. Wear it with power, Paige!” the caption stated.
The post caught the attention of celebrity stylist and TV personality Brittany Hampton, who praised the unique collaboration, exclaiming, “A Dapp & P Link Up!!!!!”
Others were equally impressed by the crossover, with one fan writing, “OMG!! Painting our guest bedroom this color! Need that fit too!”
