RE/MAX hires Daniel Dennis as SVP of sales and service

Daniel Dennis, a longtime real estate executive with nearly two decades of leadership experience, has been named senior vice president of sales and service at RE/MAX, the company announced Monday.

In his new role, Dennis will oversee sales and support services for brokerages in company-owned regions across the U.S. He will also lead franchise growth efforts through sales and conversions, as well as mergers and acquisitions.

“Daniel is an accomplished industry leader with a strategic, results-driven mindset and a passion for supporting brokers and agents,” Chris Lim, chief growth officer at RE/MAX, said in a statement. “I believe his depth of experience and passion for the industry will strengthen our operations and reinforce our dedication to affiliate success across the network.”

Dennis previously served as president of Illustrated Properties in Palm Beach, Florida, where he managed a luxury brokerage of more than 600 associates across 21 offices. During his tenure, the company reportedly saw record-breaking recruitment numbers.

Before that, Dennis spent more than a decade as CEO of Roberts Brothers Inc., a HomeServices of America affiliate based in Mobile, Alabama, where he led the company through periods of significant growth and profitability.

“I’ve had the privilege of working alongside real estate agents for the past 17 years, focusing on creating environments where they can truly thrive,” Dennis said in a statement. “Success in this industry isn’t just about tangible aspects like technology or transaction support — it’s also about the intangible, emotional connection that drives decisions.

“I’m excited to continue fostering these environments and empowering RE/MAX affiliates to deliver their best to their clients and communities.”

Erik Carlson, CEO of RE/MAX Holdings, said Dennis’s hiring supports the company’s broader efforts to expand and evolve.

“This is an exciting time for RE/MAX as we continue to evolve and invest in top-tier talent,” Carlson said. “Daniel’s leadership and operational expertise align perfectly with our mission and vision. We’re thrilled to welcome him to the team.”

Dennis’s appointment comes amid a series of leadership changes at RE/MAX headquarters. Recent additions include Don Kottick as president of RE/MAX Canada, along with the appointments of Lim as chief growth officer and Travis Saxton as executive vice president of strategy.

“This is a transformative time for RE/MAX,” Dennis said. “I’m honored to join such a respected organization — the most productive brand in real estate — and look forward to partnering with our brokers and agents to help them succeed.”
