Rensvold does it all in Polson's softball win

RONAN — Samantha Rensvold was a hard out, going 5-for-5 with five runs and two RBIs out of the leadoff spot as the Polson Lady Pirates picked up a 13-0 win over the Ronan Maidens in high school softball Friday night. 

Rensvold also took the circle for Polson (12-3-1), allowing just one hit with no earned runs across six innings, striking out four.  

Olivia Jore followed Rensvold in the lineup and added three hits with three RBIs. Opal Nash drove in three runs as the Lady Pirates racked up 16 hits on the evening. 

Ronan (8-7), committed five errors in the game, resulting in five unearned runs. Kailyn Marengo started for the Maidens, going four and 2-3 innings. Kylee Kelch recorded the only hit, a single in the third inning.
