GEORGIA

The Bulldogs didn’t come up a lot with prospects but the ones they are in on are elite. That starts with quarterback Peyton Houston, who took home quarterback MVP honors. Houston was as advertised in camp throwing with accuracy and the ball jumps out of his hand. The Louisiana native was also wearing a Georgia towel.

It’s not shocking to know that Georgia is also in the mix for elite trench prospects Zane Rowe and Carter Scruggs. Coach Kirby Smart’s program was represented well with the top players.

LSU

The Tigers are known to dip into the Lone Star State for talent and they have one the best already committed in the 2027 class. Wide receiver Jabari Mack showed his range of skills on Sunday. At nearly 200 pounds, he’s a fluid route runner and has good top-end speed. He’s got the look of another great one to come through Baton Rouge.

Offensive line MVP Ismael Camara was dominant on Sunday and has the Tigers among his top choices.

OKLAHOMA

The Sooners are in the thick of things for KJ Ford, who was one of the best pass rushers from camp. The Duncanville standout was quick off the edge and showed some nice pass rush moves. Oklahoma is also one of the top choices for jumbo athlete Zane Rowe, who worked out at defensive end and tight end. Though his best reps of the day came on the interior defensive line.

Keep an eye on the Sooners for offensive line standout Carter Scruggs, who made the trip from Virginia.

TEXAS

It’s easy to see why Cedar Hill defensive lineman Jalen Brewster took home defensive line MVP honors. He was a force all along the line at multiple positions. He’s the type of interior pass rusher that colleges dream about because he’s got real pass rush moves to go along with his strength. Texas is one of the teams to beat here.

The Longhorns are in the mix with plenty of the players that were in Dallas. One young player to watch is 2028 offensive lineman Jai’Storm Knight.

TEXAS TECH

The Red Raiders had a couple impressive defensive commits in attendance at camp. Defensive back Noah Lewis showed good ball skills and coverage ability. On the defensive line, Krush Johnson was a disruptive player and performed well during the one-on-one sessions.

One of the really nice surprises of the day was cornerback Jerry Outhouse Jr. and he took home MVP honors. The Red Raiders are among his top choices and that’s another good early evaluation by Jeff McGuire’s staff.
