The national award recognizes companies that value their employees and strive to amplify talent.
, /PRNewswire/ -- SafeRide Health, one of the country's leading non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) companies, today announced that it has earned the 2025 USA TODAY Top Workplaces award. The award recognizes organizations that prioritize people-first cultures and create exceptional workplace experiences.
The 2025 Top Workplaces USA award is based on direct employee feedback gathered in an engagement survey issued by Energage in partnership with USA TODAY. More than half of SafeRide Health's employees responded to the confidential survey.
"We've worked hard to make SafeRide Health a supportive, engaging workplace that fosters community and rewards dedication," said Hillary Reynolds, SafeRide Vice President of People Operations. "We hear time and again from our employees that they appreciate feeling valued and know they are making a real difference in the lives of the patients we serve. These awards are a testament to that."
SafeRide has built a reputation not only as an excellent employer, but also as an industry-leading provider of NEMT services, with an average fulfillment rate of 99%, an exceptionally low complaints and grievances rate (averaging 0.13% of fulfilled rides in 2024), and robust data reporting that drives excellent member experience and advanced prevention and control efforts. SafeRide will provide 9+ million rides in 2025 for more than 65 clients in the Medicaid, Medicare, and provider network space.
The USA Today Top Workplaces award builds on recent SafeRide accolades in recognition of its culture of collaboration and employee empowerment. Last fall, the company was named a Top Workplace for Remote Work, sponsored by Monster, and received Top Workplaces Culture Excellence Awards for Employee Well-Being and Professional Development. The awards were based on anonymous employee surveys conducted in 2024.
Top Workplaces USA celebrates organizations with 150 or more employees that have built excellent cultures. More than 42,000 organizations were invited to participate in the Top Workplaces USA survey. Results are calculated by comparing the survey's research-based statements, including 15 culture drivers that are proven to predict high performance against industry benchmarks.
"Earning a Top Workplaces award is a badge of honor for companies, especially because it comes authentically from their employees," said Eric Rubino, Energage CEO. "That's something to be proud of. In today's market, leaders must ensure they're allowing employees to have a voice and be heard. That's paramount. Top Workplaces do this, and it pays dividends."
SafeRide Health officially opened its new headquarters in San Antonio in December.
