Salma Hayek's favorite finds under $100 — Madewell, Birkenstocks and more

As a Birkenstock diehard myself, I immediately recognized the low-profile sandal in this pic on Hayek's Instagram page. Sure, the Arizona is probably more popular these days, but there's something very chic and elevated about the minimalist design of Hayek's pick.

Amazon shoppers who own these sandals are impressed with the arch support and comfort, and appreciate that they're versatile enough to wear with lots of different outfits. "Buy them!" one reviewer exclaimed. "They are true to size, amazing quality and the most comfortable shoes I've ever put on my feet. I love them."

Another added, "Love the comfort and fit; great arch support and the design allows pairs well with both casual and dressier outfits."

Whether it's a vibrant red (à la Taylor Swift), deep berry or a classic nude, there's just something about a good swipe of lipstick that can take your day from zero to 100. Salma Hayek agrees. In an interview with the New York Times, the award-winning actress and all-around Hollywood icon divulged her go-to beauty favorites. "I love the lip colors and textures of the Clinique Pop line," she shared.

Available in more than 20 shades, these creamy, pigmented lipsticks are long-lasting and come in satin, matte and shine. There's nothing like scented candles to make your home smell heavenly. For Hayek, though, they can also bring a calming ambiance to a glam sesh before a big event. Take a look at her recent Instagram posts and you can see that Hayek's brand of choice is none other than Paris-based Diptyque, known for its high-quality scented candles and the chic votives they come in.

While we don't know the exact scent the actress prefers, we highly recommend Baies. Arguably Diptyque's most iconic offering, it's light and fruity, with a mix of blackcurrant berries and roses. The brand describes it as "the herbarium of fruits" and "nature in all its glory."

A five-star Nordstrom reviewer wrote that the fragrance is "gorgeous, unusual, fresh, green, rosy" and "perfect for any time of year when you want a luxurious pick-me-up."

When she's not wearing Gucci, YSL or Balenciaga on the red carpet, Hayek is a regular gal just like the rest of us sporting flirty, floral dresses by Madewell. Sadly, the blue frock she posed in is sold out, but there are lots of lovely styles at Nordstrom Rack to add to your closet for spring.

We're fond of this pale green pick that has billowy sleeves and a flattering wrap silhouette. Pair it with a cardigan and heeled sandals for a spring wedding or baby shower, or throw on a denim jacket and white sneakers to make it feel more casual.

Yahoo deals writer Britt Ross was "delighted" to come across a series of photos Hayek posted on Instagram, showing off her cooking skills. While Ross couldn't make out all of the cookware on Hayek's counter, she did spot a pan from T-fal, one of the more affordable brands on the market.

Back in 2023, Hayek's hairstylist revealed that she used this affordable oil to finish the star's gorgeous tousled waves for the Academy Awards.

This is the product Hayek relies on to keep her pout hydrated and pillowy soft. She told the New York Times that she keeps a Sisley lip balm in her purse, and we're intrigued.

If you're unfamiliar with the brand, Sisley is a luxury French beauty brand that makes "high-performance, plant-based skincare, makeup, fragrance and hair care products." The lip balm is a bestseller at high-end stores around the web with lots of rave reviews. 

"Best lip balm!" one Bloomingdale's shopper wrote. "Super moisturizing without being greasy. Love the slightest hint of color. It feels great on my lips."

When Hayek took to Instagram to share her recipe for an all-natural immune system booster and cough remedy, we couldn't help but notice this top-rated apple cider vinegar among her go-to ingredients. 

Like Hayek, thousands of Amazon rave about the benefits of this organic powerhouse. "I use apple cider vinegar for my salads as well as doing a shot of it mixed with water. I find it smooths my stomach that's why I choose this brand," one buyer explained.

Another added, "I really like this product and it works with digestion for me as well as with cooking if needed. Great product and I can always count on it!"
