‘Sinners’ is available to rent or buy this week: How to watch and everything you need to know

Have you had a chance to see Sinners yet? Ryan Coogler’s massive hit horror film has been dominating at the box office since its release in April. But if you haven’t had a chance to see Michael B. Jordan’s double performance as Smoke and Stack, two twins returning to their hometown in the Mississippi Delta looking to open their own juke joint, get ready, because Sinners is about to follow you home…

Sinners will be available to rent or buy digitally starting Tuesday, June 3, 2025. The movie then becomes available on 4K UHD, Blu-ray and DVD on July 8. You can also still catch the period vampire flick in most theaters. Here’s what you need to know about how to watch Sinners.

When does Sinners come out?

Sinners premiered in theaters on Apr. 18, 2025. The box-office hit will finally be available to watch from home on Tuesday, June 3, 2025. You can purchase Ryan Coogler’s Sinners for $25 via Amazon, Apple TV and other video-on-demand platforms. You can also rent Sinners for $20 from those same platforms.

Sinners streaming date:

While we don’t know when Sinners will land on a streaming platform, we do know where it will most likely be available to stream. When Sinners comes out on streaming, it will likely be available via HBO Max, since it’s a Warner Bros. film.

Sinners 4K DVD release date:

Sinners will be released on 4K UHD, Blu-ray and DVD on July 8. Both the digital and physical releases of the movie will come with special features, including a 32-minute featurette, “Dancing with the Devil: The Making of ‘Sinners;'” a 10-minute featurette, “Thicker than Blood: Becoming the Smokestack Twins;” a 13-minute featurette, “Blues in the Night: The Music of ‘Sinners;'” an 8-minute featurette, “Spirits in the Deep South;” a 11-minute featurette, “The Wages of Sin: The Creature FX of ‘Sinners;'” and over 18 minutes of deleted and extended scenes.

What is Sinners about?

Sinners follows notorious twins Smoke and Stack, who return from Chicago to their hometown in the Mississippi Delta in the 1930s. The pair set out to open their own juke joint and their community rallies around them, but evil slips its way into the opening-night celebrations.

Will there be a Sinners sequel?

While those who’ve seen the Sinners end credits scene feel that the door is open for the Sinners franchise to expand, director Ryan Coogler seems to disagree.

“I’ve been in a space of making franchise films for a bit, so I wanted to get away from that,” Coogler told Ebony Magazine. “I wanted the movie to feel like a full meal: your appetizers, starters, entrees and desserts, I wanted all of it there… That was always my intention.”
