Skyview boys down West for AA boys title

BOZEMAN — The Billings Skyview Falcons are flying high.

The Falcons claimed the AA boys state championship over their rival Billings West Saturday 48-46. 

Shaydon West had a chance to tie the game in the final seconds but the shot bounced off the back rim and Skyview grabbed the rebound. 

Meanwhile, Helena bested Gallatin for third place 67-57.

Zakai Owens and Tayshaun Williams scored 14 points apiece and Billings Skyview claimed the boys AA state title. 

Jaysun Mims added eight points for the Falcons, who outscored West 15-9 in the final frame. 

Cash Rice led the Golden Bears with 16 points, Randall had 13.

Helena 67, Gallatin 57, third place

Tevin Wetzel scored 20 points and Jaxan Lieberg added 17 as Helena downed Gallatin for third place. 

Eli Peterson tallied 12 for the Bengals, who finish the season 18-5. 

Mac Melin scored 15 points to lead the Raptors, who end 2025 at 16-8.
