Everybody knows that nooks and crannies are the worst part of any cleaning job. It can feel almost impossible to extract that stuck-in grime, whether it's besmirching your keyboard or the recesses of your car's air vents. Enter ColorCoral Universal Cleaning Gel, a lemon-scented schmutz-slayer that's designed to pull out dust and debris from the most annoyingly hard-to-reach recesses of your electronics, appliances and car dashboard. The bestseller boasts more than 31,000 rave reviews, and it's on sale for just $7.
Why is this a good deal? 💰
You can spend a lot of money on specialized cleaners, but this goop is plenty affordable even when it's not on sale. This discount makes it downright impossible to pass up. At $7 (more than 40% off), you might even want to pick a few up as spares.
Why do I need this? 🤔
This stuff makes cleaning simple: Just smush it against the grime and voilá! Plus, you can use it just about anywhere. Here's how it works: Simply knead a small piece of the gel into a ball and flatten it against the surface you want to clean. That's it! Once you pull it away, all the nasties come with it.
The stuff is reusable, so keep cleaning away until it turns dark from all the horrors you've been subjecting it to. It even leaves behind a pleasant lemony scent.
It works on keyboards, dusty figurines, hard-to-reach places in your car, even the back of your TV (that has to be the dustiest place in my entire house).
What's this cleaning gel made of? Who cares! It'll leave your gnarliest, hardest-to-reach spaces clean and fresh. (Amazon)
What reviewers say 💬
Tens of thousands of Amazon shoppers are seriously obsessed with this super-satisfying gel.
Pros 👍
"I was hoping to clean the dust out of my iPhone's microphone and speakerphone cutouts (the small holes on the top and bottom of the iPhone)," began one reviewer. "The product completely removed the dust without leaving any residue or moisture. I was surprised to discover the product smells pleasant, not overpowering in any way."
"I have a primary small keyboard vacuum that I use to remove 99% of the dust and small particles. This gel should handle all that itself, but used in conjunction makes this last incredibly long," said another five-star fan. "It gives you a keyboard that looks 100% new, [and] very impressive. I was able to restore a 5-year-old keyboard. that was originally $180. The vacuum and a thing of this gel completely restored it to like-new condition."
"I work from home and eat breakfast and lunch at my desk," shared this reviewer. "I also have two dogs and two cats. Needless to say, my keyboard gets gross after a few months. I remove the caps and clean what I can. However, it's nearly impossible to get everything — especially animal hair/dander. This goo gets most of what I can't. It picks up all of the little animal hairs and tiny specs I can't, even when the hairs are slightly wedged in the plastic switches."
Cons 👎
"You really have to push in between the keys to make it work," cautioned a four-star fan. "And even then, it's not that sticky to clean everything well right away and may need multiple passes to get some kind of good results. But definitely a faster solution than brushing between the keys or using Q-tips."
Another four-star reviewer cautioned against leaving it in the car (the company says to store it in a cool place). "It worked [well] the first time I used it, but I left it in my hot car [and] tried to use [it] again, and it was ridiculously sticky," they said. "Great product, but don't leave it in the car."
