The Tennessee Volunteers' recruiting profile shines with the No. 1 quarterback of 2026, Faizon Brandon. Josh Heupel's camp has also managed to secure six others from the cycle and will be expecting to add to that number after this good news.
Four-star offensive tackle Kamari Blair has put the Volunteers in his final six, alongside Florida State, Kentucky, Ole Miss, South Carolina and Wisconsin.
The 6-foot-6 and 280-pound star revealed himself as a "big relationship guy" and that he has the best relationships with these programs.
“Really just what they have to offer and I’m a big relationship guy. These are the schools that I have the best relationship with." He said per Steve Wiltfong's report published on Friday.
He placed the Vols as one of the best schools, stressing the relationship he shares with management.
“It’s one of the best football programs in the country right now," Blair said. "Coach Heup is a phenomenal coach. Coach Elarbee is very genuine with how they’re recruiting me right now and being open and honest. The relationship is starting to be there.”
Blair’s process now shifts to official visits, with trips scheduled to Wisconsin on May 30, South Carolina on June 6, Florida State on June 9, Ole Miss on June 13 and Kentucky the weekend of June 20.
Tennessee remains the only finalist without an official visit on his calendar. But that is in the works as the program offered only recently.
“I’m going into these visits with an open mind,” Blair added.
