Every spring, I'm amazed at how many buds come off of the trees in my yard. After the first rainstorm of the year, they're all over my driveway and filling up my gutters, clogging them just in time for April showers. Of course, cleaning gutters is labor- and time-intensive, and it's just plain gross. Even with gloves on, who wants to reach into a gutter and pull out wads of wet leaves, dirt and other crud? Well, maybe you don't have to: With the Orbit Telescoping Gutter Cleaning Wand, you can finish the job without lifting a foot off the ground — grab it while it's on sale for just $28.
You can extend this wand up to 70 inches, making it easy to reach your gutters. Just attach the hose and let water pressure do the work.
Why is this a good deal? 💰
Every year, there are more than 300 deaths related to ladders (and more than 500,000 injuries). If you can avoid that risk for the price of this wand, it's worth it. To make it even more appealing, this is the lowest price we've seen in years.
Why do I need this? 🤔
Cleaning gutters isn't fun. It's a lot of going up a ladder, cleaning, coming down, moving the ladder and climbing it once more. Tedious, right? This wand eliminates that. All you have to do is attach a hose to the end of the wand and adjust the angle of the nozzle. The water pressure will blast all of the gunk out of your gutters, no climbing required.
The wand extends from 40 inches to 70 inches, and the nozzle rotates 180 degrees. Four separate positions make it easy to spray water in exactly the direction you need. It's also built to be lightweight and long-lasting, with a frame that won't break down after exposure to water. Perhaps most importantly, there's a solid grip on the handle that makes it easy to hold, even with a lot of water moving through it. The grip also insulates your hands from the water.

What reviewers say 💬
Over 4,500 people have given this handy cleaner a five-star review.
Pros 👍
One content customer praised the wand's ability to reach high places, though also heeded a warning: "The length of this was just long enough to reach my gutters from the ground. However, I'm not tall, and the gutters are a bit high. As another reviewer also said, it sprayed me and I got quite wet. Use the valve at the bottom of the wand to shut off the water, then put the nozzle in the gutter before you open the valve. Shut the valve off before you take the nozzle out of the gutter. There's a lot of pressure so you still may get sprayed a bit!"
The instructions have everything you need to get it working. "I followed the instructions in the video and started with the downspouts. After a few back-and-forth motions around to [the] top of a spout, the clog came loose and flushed nicely," explained a five-star reviewer. "I worked from the spout up the gutter a few inches at a time. I completed the stretch, about 20 feet, in less than an hour."
Another happy buyer liked how it worked with existing gutter covers. "The ability to slip this in the slot between the top edge and the bottom edge of Leafguard gutters is excellent. You can angle the head to fit in perfectly, and then move it gently towards the downspout (being careful not to be too rough and scrape the powder-coated surface). Do it on a warm day because you are likely to get sprayed a bit from time to time, especially if your Leafguards have bends in the runs."
Cons 👎
"It's a bit tricky to get used to using," cautioned this helpful shopper. "The biggest would the the torque when it's fully extended. Meaning, the longer you have it extended the more torque the water pressure will be and makes it more challenging to control. Great water pressure BTW. Think of it as a rocket at the end of a long pole. Your hand placement on the wand will be key, keep them apart vs. together."
"I wish it was longer or had an optional attachment," critiqued a four-star customer. "If you're doing your gutters regularly and live on a one-story house, this length is fine, but if you’re like me and don't wash them out enough, you might find you need more length to really get under the leaves and blast them out. I ended up buying a paint roller pole extender from Lowe's and zip-tying them together."
The ladder can stay in the garage when you use this handy helper.
