At least 12 people were killed and more than 50 injured in a Russian missile strike on the south-eastern Ukrainian city of Kryvyi Rih on Friday, authorities said.
The ballistic missile damaged multi-story apartment buildings and set cars and garages on fire, said Oleksandr Vilkul, head of the city's military administration, on Telegram.
Kryvyi Rih, the hometown of President Volodymyr Zelensky, lies about 70 kilometres from the front line.
Ukraine has been defending itself against Russia's all-out invasion for more than three years.
