Walmart Reaffirms Sales Outlook But Warns of Tariffs Impact

Walmart reaffirmed its sales forecast but warned tariffs could put profits under pressure as it battles to keep prices low.

The world's largest retailer by sales said it still expect sales to grow between 3% and 4% in the first quarter but that the range of outcomes for operating income growth has widened.

The company cited its desire to "maintain flexibility to invest in price as tariffs are implemented," in a release Wednesday.
