We love a fun food trend (remember eating a whole cucumber and toaster quesadillas?). Former Real Housewife of New York Bethenny Frankel recently shared a few highly entertaining videos about her quest for the perfect cottage cheese bagel recipe.
The latest Frankel TikTok recipe video reveals how passionate she is about testing and working on her recipe and how the results are so far, "the crisp, the cush, I won't sleep tonight. I can't wait for breakfast." In the video, Frankel explains her recipe (for the most part) and her method. We decided to round up her cottage cheese bagel must-haves because while the world eagerly awaits her final recipe, we can all try making these at home.
So far, she has shared that her recipe has just three ingredients: 1 1/4 cups whipped cottage cheese (regular cottage cheese that I believe she whips in a blender or food processor), 1 cup all-purpose flour and 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder. She mixes them into a sticky dough and then separates the dough into four portions, which she shapes into bagels on a parchment-lined baking sheet. In the video, she doesn't say at what temperature (only that she preheats the baking sheet at 375°F) or for how long she bakes them. She encourages her followers to give her more time to perfect the recipe, at which point she'll share it. We can't wait to try it when she does.
