Central Soil and Materials Research Station

(CSMRS) is conducting the final testing for the barrage, expected to conclude within a month, after which construction will begin. The dam project is awaiting a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Forest Department, with final discussions underway”, said Dhuman Singh.
Yamunanagar irrigation and water resources department senior engineer (SE) Arvind Kaushik and executive engineer (XeN) Nitin Bhatt emphasized their commitment to conserving every drop of the district's river water. The administration aims to utilize river water to meet local needs and prevent wastage, thereby improving groundwater levels and benefitting the farmers.
