, /PRNewswire/ -- The Florida Society of Clinical Oncology (FLASCO) is pleased to announce the return of two premier oncology training programs: Great Strides Together on March 8, 2025, and Rapid Integrations on March 9, 2025. These back-to-back educational initiatives will take place at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, FL, offering oncology professionals an opportunity to enhance their knowledge and clinical expertise.

Great Strides Together: March 8, 2025

Great Strides Together is a highly regarded, multi-facility collaborative conference designed for oncology physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals involved in cancer patient management. This program provides a state-of-the-art educational experience, including continuing medical education (CME) credits, with a strong focus on the interdisciplinary approach to oncology care.

With a long-standing reputation for excellence, Great Strides Together equips healthcare professionals with the latest advancements and practical tools needed to deliver the highest quality cancer care. Based on previous years' success, this program remains a cornerstone for professional development in Florida's oncology community.

Rapid Integrations: March 9, 2025

As the demand for advanced practice providers (APPs) in oncology continues to grow, FLASCO's Rapid Integrations is designed to bridge the knowledge gap for clinicians transitioning into hematology/oncology. Many APPs enter oncology from other specialties, and this targeted training accelerates their learning curve by providing essential skills and knowledge for successful integration into oncology teams.

Through expert-led sessions and interactive discussions, this course prepares healthcare providers to confidently navigate the complexities of hematology-oncology care, ensuring they can deliver high-quality, patient-centered treatment from day one.

Supporting Oncology Education & Workforce Preparedness

"Both of these training programs play a vital role in advancing oncology education and preparing the next generation of oncology professionals," said Maen Hussein, MD, President of FLASCO. "By equipping clinicians with specialized knowledge and practical skills, we are reinforcing a well-trained, collaborative workforce dedicated to delivering the best possible cancer care across Florida."

FLASCO remains committed to professional development and the advancement of oncology education. Registration for both programs is now open, with complimentary access available to all FLASCO members. As a dues-free state society for oncology professionals, FLASCO offers its members unique benefits, including free registration to all meetings and educational initiatives.
