I'm a style expert — here are the must-have spring finds I'm buying from Lululemon

Think of these as a pair of jeans for your workout wardrobe. Lululemon's famous Align leggings, with their buttery soft Nulu fabric, are now available in Washed Denim, the brand's newest color. And just like your favorite jeans, you'll keep coming back to these again and again. 

This particular pair has a 25-inch hem that hits right above the ankle and a pair of pockets on the sides — always a plus. There's also a hidden pocket inside the waistband so you won't lose your keys or your cash. Editor-in-chief Laura Kenney didn't get the whole Lululemon obsession until she bought a pair. "Now I understand and actually feel confident leaving the house in leggings," she said. "The high-waisted cut helps my waist looked cinched, and the fabric, seams and cut work together to visually sculpt and whittle your leg:"

There have been so many dupes of Lululemon's velvety sweatshirts, like this often-imitated Scuba half-zip hoodie, which now comes in another color that's new to Lulu: Red Glow. I always say, red is a neutral, but I'm usually talking about shoes. I can't wait to add this pop of color to my athleisure collection now.

The Scuba is beloved for its super soft feel, its breathable fabric and the way it hits right at the waist — a more slimming hem than the kind that goes past your hips, in my experience.

This cropped tee is the kind of piece that's made for movement. Not only does it have a loose fit, it's also got open-hole mesh to keep air flowing, four-way stretch — as much great activewear does — and minimal seams so it won't chafe your skin.

I love to pair crop tops like this with high-waisted leggings and pants for a flattering silhouette. The plum shade is especially cute, or go for a neutral black or white. 

If you don't have a pair of running shorts in your rotation, you're missing out. Biker shorts are great, but they don't compare to the airiness of a pair of shorts like these, which have a roomy fit and a high-rise waist.

This racerback tank top is stretchy, sweat-wicking and, of course, lightweight. It's perfect for exercise and everyday wear, and in Hawaiian Blue, it's eye candy, too.

Not a pickle-baller? Not a problem. It's even okay if you don't play tennis. This athletic dress with built-in shorts and a shelf bra is a stretchy, supportive one-piece that's designed for yoga but is also great for jogging, hiking or hanging out.

When you're looking for a great spring-to-summer maxi dress, you might not immediately think of an athletic brand like Lululemon, but let this stretchy staple change your mind.

It's the absolute perfect put-it-on-and-go look for basically anything. The textured fabric is sweat-wicking, quick-drying and feels like a second skin. And that pleat on the side makes it easier to move in and more adaptable to your shape.

A great rain jacket is an essential piece of outerwear. This streamlined one fits the bill with its breathable upper that manages to still be completely wind- and waterproof.

Lululemon's famous Everywhere belt bag is reborn as a backpack and I'm loving it in this soft lavender (it also comes in red and black). The minimalist carryall has a padded pocket for your laptop so you can truly take it everywhere without being disconnected. Its spacious main interior fits everything else. 

Outside, you'll find side pockets for your smaller items and padded straps to keep you comfortable and reduce strain.

I'm a big advocate of little somethings like this card pouch that holds credit cards, identification and cash — everything you need for a quick run to the store or to barre class. It's water-repellent, too, so everything will stay safe and dry.
