According to a press release by the party,
Manish Sisodia
was assigned responsibility for Punjab, Mehraj Malik for Jammu and Kashmir, Gopal Rai for Gujarat, Pankaj Gupta for Goa, and Sandeep Pathak for Chhattisgarh.
The decisions were taken during a meeting of the AAP's political affairs committee (PAC) at the residence of party supremo Arvind Kejriwal.
Announcing the organisational modifications, AAP general secretary (organisation) Sandeep Pathak proclaimed that Gopal Rai has been entrusted with the responsibility of Gujarat, where the party endeavours to broaden its presence.
Pathak, a Rajya Sabha MP, has been designated in-charge of the AAP's Chhattisgarh unit, whilst Pankaj Gupta shall spearhead the party's Goa chapter.
Mehraj Malik has been appointed the new chief of the party's Jammu and Kashmir unit.
The meeting additionally deliberated on the "unfulfilled" promises made by the BJP in Delhi, including providing monthly financial assistance of Rs 2,500 and free LPG cylinders to women, Pathak said.
