What are you spending on groceries these days?

From eggs and meat to (gasp!) coffee, lots of grocery staples are getting more expensive. Thanks to factors such as the bird flu outbreak and supply chain issues, food prices have increased 2.6% from February 2024 to February 2025, according to the Consumer Price Index, and they’re expected to keep going up.

Many people are fed up, with a recent Yahoo News/YouGov poll finding that 87% of Americans believe current grocery prices in America are too high. Are you one of them? Maybe you’re continuing to fork over more money for the basics, or perhaps as budgets get tighter, you’ve found a way to pinch pennies by skipping organic fruits and veggies or cutting out treats.

Whatever your situation is, Yahoo wants to hear from you! Share your grocery shopping experiences (and your receipts!) using the Google Form below, and you may be included in an article featuring stories from everyday Americans. Don’t worry — we won’t include any identifying information. We just want to learn how you’re navigating rising grocery prices, and the impact on real people’s wallets.
