After a long, cold winter, few things make us breathe a sigh of relief like March's arrival — and from the looks of the products in our February installment of editor favorites, many of us on the Yahoo shopping team had spring on the brain last month. Transitional wardrobe pieces like sweatshirts, button-downs and loungewear sets made the cut, as did a nontoxic manicure set; no more mittens means those nails get to shine!
We were also impressed by a smart Peloton guide for strength workouts, a sleek toaster and a clever set of duvet clips that'll keep your comforter from getting bunched up in its cover. (Who doesn't need that?) My contribution? My new Samsung The Frame TV: Now that it'll be getting warmer soon, I won't be hunkering down with as many shows and can treat my wall like an art gallery rather than a viewing station.
Well, February, we can't say we're crying because you're over, but we can smile because you happened — and in doing so, introduced us to some of our new favorite things.
"I love a gel manicure as much as the next person, but my nails certainly don’t. After a year of professional manis, my brittle, peeling nails were screaming for a break. And since I don’t feel like myself without my signature red tips, I picked up this starter set from Dazzle Dry, which recently topped our list of the best nontoxic nail polishes. It took a little while to master the four-step system, but once I did, my at-home mani now lasts nearly two weeks without a single chip. Perhaps, the best part is that the polish dries within five minutes and can be removed easily without harsh acetone or rough filing. I'm a total convert — my nails are stronger, healthier and happier (as is my wallet!)." -Amanda Garrity, Gifting Editor
"I'm not even remotely tech-minded, but I have to say — I get the hype surrounding this TV. When my husband and I were looking to replace our old screen, I knew I wanted something that wouldn't look like an eyesore on the wall. Because the Frame is supposed to mimic a piece of art, I thought it would be a good option, so we decided to try it out. It really does make a difference in the room! Now, instead of having a large black box drawing focus, we can display a painting or photo; we often switch things up depending on our mood, which is fun. Oh, and it's super user-friendly as a TV, too (if I can say that, anyone can). One note: We did hire a professional to install it, as we are not handy!" -Britt Ross, Senior Deals Writer

"I'm obsessed with this crewneck sweatshirt and wear it at least once a week. Actually, I've even bought two of them — one for home and one for my parents' house so I have something comfy to wear when I visit them. (Now, I don't have to pack my sweats!) The material is super soft and feels similar to Athleta's Sea Soft line or Lululemon's Softstreme line, and it doesn't wrinkle easily. I also think it looks a little more elevated than a classic cotton crew. While I wear it with the brand's Butterluxe leggings (which I also recommend), I'd wear it with jeans too." -Ellie Conley, Trending Writer
"I love wearing under-eye patches and have made them part of my morning routine. After washing my face, I pop them on to make a cup of coffee. Sometimes I even wear them under my sunglasses as I walk my dog! But some brands make this daily habit a little expensive, so I was happy to find the trusted brand Cosrx sells this 60-pack (enough for two months at least!) for just $23. They're loaded with a peptide- and collagen-infused serum to hydrate and reduce puffiness, and they don't irritate my sensitive skin. I also like that there seems to be a lot of serum in these, compared to some brands that make patches that feel a bit more dry." -Ellie Conley, Trending Writer
"The TV in our bedroom inexplicably has the most obnoxious bright blue light, and this silk sleeping mask completely blocks it out. It has a velcro strip in the back for easy adjusting, and despite the smooth feel, doesn’t slip and slide in my sleep." -Izabella Zaydenberg, Deputy Editor
"I was already a Peloton Bike junkie, but all cardio and no strength training wasn't helping me reach my fitness goals. I'm still new to integrating the guide into my workouts, but so far I'm impressed. It's making my routines so much more efficient. It keeps track of my reps so that I can focus on breathing and technique and I love how it gives real-time feedback on my form with polite instructions like, 'If you can, squat a bit lower' and 'try to straighten your back.' What that amounts to are far fewer injuries and far more efficient workouts." -Janelle Randazza, Commerce Editor
"I got my first pair of glasses in 4th grade, and I've been a specs lover ever since. When I finally figured out that the stylish glasses Brooke Shields has been wearing were from Caddis, I just had to get a pair for myself. I decided on the Miklos style and I see why the brand has so many celebrity fans. I own over 20 pairs of glasses (yes, they are basically my personality now) and these Caddis frames are among the most well-made, stylish and comfy. Yes, at over $300 the prescription styles are a splurge, but I use them to see every day, so well worth the investment in my opinion. And for what it's worth, the readers are much more affordably priced and just as chic." -Jeanine Edwards, Shopping Director
"After a ton of research and interviews with dermatologists, I've been slowly switching out my pricier skin care products with quality budget swaps and I could not be more impressed with Differin. It was the first FDA-approved over-the-counter retinoid and, while it's most well known for being an acne treatment, it actually works to soften wrinkles and improve saggy texture too. Plus, you truly can't beat this price." -Jennifer Romolini, Senior Beauty Editor
"I've been living in this well-cut, oversized-but-not boxy Old Navy cotton button-down, which is at once artsy, crisp and chic and — with skinny jeans and loafers — just right for spring's preppy trend. It comes in 13 colors (with striped options too), and, at under $20, you can afford to buy a few." -Jennifer Romolini, Senior Beauty Editor
"My beauty find of the month! This incredible $10 body scrub is a near 1:1 replacement for Fresh's iconic $70 Brown Sugar Body Polish (the ingredient lists are almost identical). It's amazing for leaving scaly, flaky winter skin supple and glowing and the scent is rich, delicious and vanilla-y, without being cloying." -Jennifer Romolini, Senior Beauty Editor
"My nephew, Arlo, just turned one, and as his designated 'cool aunt,' I have to outfit him with the absolute cutest gear, right? Patgonia is a go-to brand for my brother and his family — they're very outdoorsy — and I could tell just by looking at these overalls that they'll last for as long as they fit little Arlo. They're made from durable organic canvas and have adjustable straps. Plus, right now they're on sale for more than half off!" -Jessica Dodell-Feder, Senior Home & Garden Editor
"After covering the coziest matching loungewear sets at Amazon, I just had to try one for myself — and I couldn’t be happier! Ever since I got this adorable turtleneck and wide-leg pant set, I've been living in it. I love wearing them both together or mixing them with other pieces in my wardrobe. The gold buttons on the cuffs add such a chic and luxurious touch to the top, and the drawstring waistband on the pants makes them super comfy. Honestly, the toughest part was picking from the 16 gorgeous colors. I went with the apricot style, but I’m seriously tempted to treat myself to another one soon." -Rebecca Carhart, Style Writer
"Living in a city has so many perks — having a big kitchen with lots of space is not one of them! After my bulky toaster broke, I discovered this gem of an appliance from Bella that's super slim and fits perfectly between my air fryer and coffee maker. Its narrow design has one long slot for toasting bread vs. two side-by-side. Such a smart space-saving concept. My daily English muffin for breakfast comes out perfectly crisped and the removable crumb tray makes cleanup a breeze. The neutral oatmilk color matches everything, too." -Rory Halperin, Senior Commerce Editor, Branded Content
"On a recent trip, I went to plug my phone into the rental car, only to discover it had only USB-C ports — and my charging cord had a USB Type-A connector. Maybe someday everything will unify under USB-C, but for now, many of us have to contend with different ports and plugs. That's why I pack this four-foot, nylon-braided, hydra-headed cable, which covers all the bases. At one end: a USB-C plug with an available Type-A adapter. At the other, USB-C with Micro-USB and Lightning (for older iPhones, AirPods, etc.) adapters. It supports up to 60-watt fast charging and is very reasonably priced at $15 (or $12 for Prime members)." -Rick Broida, Senior Tech Editor
"My newly teenage son is an 'active' sleeper — his bed always looks like he was wrestling wild dogs instead of catching zzz's. Suffice it to say that his duvet insert was never staying put inside its cover, but bunching up at the bottom. It has driven me (almost) as nuts as the constant pile of laundry on his floor. Well, the clothes are still there, but the duvet situation is better, thanks to these nifty magnetic pins. You just stick the front through the duvet cover and insert, then attach the back to keep it secure. Once it's time to wash, the little magnetic key lets you undo them; otherwise, they stay nice and secure." -Saundra Latham, Commerce Editor
"I haven't had a new makeup bag in a ridiculously long time, and this one hits the sweet spot in so many ways: It looks classic, has plenty of room for daily essentials and opens flat — that means easy access to everything inside! There are several little pockets to corral smaller items, and it's wipeable too. The handle and size (10 x 5 x 5) make it travel-friendly, though I tend to keep things really simple and stash my cosmetics in an ever-handy clear quart-sized bag when I'm flying." -Saundra Latham, Commerce Editor
